Serbian Missing Polar year stamps and MS

International Polar and save the glaciers are keep on coming, so that I don’t need to stop running behind it. A good work out I must say.

Last day I get to know that SERBIA published a new MS of this theme. There was another stamp issue in the year 2007.Both stamps of 2007 and MS of 2011 is still missing in my collection. I hope I will get these two soon along with stamps/MS of the same theme of other countries too.

Seals belongs to order “pinipedia”, it came from the Latin word “pinna” means wing/foot and “ped” means foot. They have four feet. There are three different  families in pinnipeds. They have a slender body and capable of gliding through water. Since they live in marine environment they belong to marine mammal’s category.

 Polar bears also belongs to class Mammalia. They are large carnivorous bears and they spend their most time in sea water in search of food. Even they are very close to land bears they have adapted themselves to stay in the cold weather of Arctic Circle. They also hunt for seals to feed. Polar bear sometimes also regarded as marine mammals.
